How does booking work per team and what do I need to know about the team structure?
Our widgets are licensed per Ninox team. This means: You always book for a specific team – and can use the widgets unlimitedly in all databases of the team. Here's how it works in practice:
Use Case 1: You are a Ninox customer and use your own database
You order the widgets once for your own Ninox team. You can find the team ID directly in the Ninox URL after the /teams/
path. Or you can use the Ninox function teamId()
in a form field. You provide this when ordering.
Use Case 2: You are a Ninox partner and develop custom client projects
You order the widgets per client project – that is, per team for which you need individually suitable widgets. All teams and their license status are clearly displayed in your user cockpit. This way, you can manage and expand all projects centrally.
Use Case 3: You develop a standard solution for several clients simultaneously
You order the widgets once but can specify multiple team IDs at the time of purchase – for all clients using the same solution. Here too, you have full oversight of all connected teams and their licenses in the user cockpit.
💡 Important: The team ID is our central reference point for the license. Please ensure that you provide the correct IDs when ordering.
